Personal leadership experiences are shared with your peers in a secure environment. Peer Roundtables are limited in size to ensure an intimate, confidential setting. The dialogues are moderated which allows a maximum level of participation and a deeper level of conversation. Topics can include pressing business issues which confront you on a daily basis, or personal development themes in which you are invited to reflect on your motives and/or behaviour. In either case, personal experience with the leadership topic on hand, and a willingness to listen and share are conditions to optimize the results.

The cost of Peer Roundtables for members is €550.

Expert Roundtables are the same small and secure moderated format as Peer Roundtables, but the sharing is stimulated by an introduction from an expert in the field.

The cost of Expert Roundtables for members is €700.

leadership dinner icon Leadership Dinners

A Leadership Dinner starts with an introduction by a high-calibre speaker, this can be a CEO or other executive or an outstanding professional. After the introduction, participants engage into a dialogue to share their own experiences regarding the topic in moderated Roundtables. Dinner will be served during these conversations. The evening ends with a plenary discussion to exchange the dialogues from each table.

2020 icon The 2020 Series

ELP will develop your ideas about the future with its bi-annual event ‘The World in 2020’. As an executive you need to be aware of possible scenarios for the future. Your organisation operates in a world that is changing faster and faster. How will the political climate develop? Can we still afford to burn oil? How will we pay for our pensions? Can we afford our health care system? Twice a year an expert will guide you through his or her ideas about the world to come. The series enables a dialogue with the expert, and the opportunity to absorb the information and reflect on how it may affect you and your organisation is also important.

The cost of lectures in this series is €450.

ELP conference icon Annual Conference

Each year ELP, in combination with its sister organisation FEL, hosts a conference where corporate executives, leadership professionals and education institutes come together to learn new theories, hear (success) stories and share ideas on leadership topics. FEL Conferences offer a splendid mix of high-calibre speakers, meaningful content, the opportunity for personal reflection in a secure environment and good food in a unique yet intimate setting. Participation is open to ELP members and their clients and contacts. Past conferences have had such themes as:

Other types of ELP Services

Sponsored Roundtables

We believe that the core competence of ELP is to moderate Roundtables about the right topics for the right people. With this in mind, we offer our services in helping you and your organisation to set up Roundtables. This can be done in a number of ways.

External Sponsored Roundtables. If you have a topic that you feel is of interest to other ELP Members, or you want to get direct feedback from your peers on a particular business dilemma, you may want to consider sponsoring a Roundtable. You will work with Twan van de Kerkhof to define the topic to suit boardroom interests. ELP will then organise the right people and take care of the logistics and the moderation of the Roundtable. You will get the feedback you look for on your topic while participants get an interesting Roundtable for free. Please keep in mind that Sponsored Roundtables are not meant for advertising your product or company, but, like all other ELP Meetings, for a genuine dialogue about boardroom topics.

Internal Sponsored Roundtables. If you have a select group of staff or clients to whom you wish to offer a particular incentive or relationship booster, ELP Roundtables are a unique reward. Again, Twan van de Kerkhof will help you to define the topic(s) and organise the logistics and the moderation of the Roundtable. Your staff and/or clients will be treated to an exclusive experience.

Moderation Services

The methodology of moderating Roundtables in ELP and FEL has proven its success. Participants benefit highly from our dialogues thanks to the unique way in which we moderate our Roundtables. Our moderating services are also available to other parties, for large as well as small groups. You or your company can engage ELP to moderate internal dialogues, Roundtables with customers, Get-To-Know-You Dinners for new employees, etc.

Leadership Talks

Twan van de Kerkhof acts as a chairman of conferences on a regular basis. He also gives leadership talks for groups of managers. Talks are always custom-made, but usually focus on personal leadership; on what each individual in his or her situation can do to co-create the future. Keywords are,

  • Be - Be present in the here and now
  • Will - Be convinced of what you want to achieve
  • Broadcast - Never get bored of spreading the message
  • Act - Just do it.

Scenes from well-known films will be used to bring the message across. Depending on the size of the group and the time available, exercises in doubles or triads will internalise the experiences of the talk.
