Our vision
The vision of ELP is to provide a safe forum for senior leaders to engage in a dialogue with peers about topics that are important to them. Key elements of our Roundtables are reflection and feedback. As a senior leader you need to step away from daily pressures every now and then to recharge your battery. Also, experience demonstrates that most senior leaders do not get sufficient honest feedback within their organisations. The more successful they are, the less feedback they get. The feedback from peers from other organisations has proven to be more honest and more effective.
The European Leadership Platform organises exclusive meetings in secure and confidential settings. Its core competencies are the selection of compatible participants and the moderation of Roundtables for top managers. All ELP events incorporate Roundtables because extensive experience has demonstrated the power of this methodology to enable leaders to effectively reflect on the dilemmas that leadership creates. These opportunities to step away from the daily pressures to reflect in depth on an issue with a diverse group of peers generate inspiration, validation and new ideas.
ELP Roundtable meetings vary in set-up, size and topic, but they all have a few elements in common. You will sit at a table with your peers in an intimate and secure environment. The dialogues are moderated which allows a maximum level of participation and a deeper level of conversation. The meetings take place in a unique environment and include quality food and wine. Meetings are held in Dutch or English depending on the participants.
ELP members are high-level executives. They are board members, heads of business units or divisions, country managers, etc. Most are from corporate life and some work for government or not-for-profit organisations. All have comprehensive responsibilities in varying industries, and therefore unique experiences to offer and share. Not just anyone is eligible. Potential ELP members are screened to ensure that only executives of the right level and experience are invited.
