Transforming Leaders

Do executives become better leaders after participating in a wilderness trail? Boy van Droffelaar, an executive coach, earned his PhD in October 2020 by answering this question in the affirmative after years of scientific study. In this ELP Leadership Meetup Boy van Droffelaar will be interviewed by Twan van de Kerkhof about the transformational aspects of the wilderness-based programs of the Foundation for Natural Leadership, including the moments of solitude, the deeply felt connection with nature and the peer-to-peer counseling. After this introduction participants will engage into a plenary dialogue about the transformative consequences of leadership programs.
