Trust at Work: Self-Organizing Teams at ABN AMRO
Self-organizing teams can make organizations faster, cheaper, more nimble and more customer-focused. But they can also lead to chaos, a lack of clarity and the loss of common goals. ABN AMRO has been working with self-organizing teams since July 2018 with the 3,500 employees of its division Personal Banking, based on the experiences of the famous Brazilian entrepreneur Ricardo Semler. Klaas Ariaans, Director Personal Banking at ABN AMRO, and Arko van Brakel, Chief Inspiration Officer at the Semco Style Institute, will share their experiences. What has gone well? What keeps them awake? After their introduction participants will engage into Roundtable Dialogues about their own experiences with (self-)organizing teams.
