ELP’s Roundtables stand out because they are moderated. Each roundtable has an ELP Moderator to make life easier for participants. The realization that the ELP Moderator is taking care and responsibility for the process allows participants to relax and to focus on the content of the conversation as well as their internal process.
The ELP Moderators’ most important contribution is to be there as they are. The art of moderating lies more in their being than in their doing. By being there and devoting all of their attention and awareness, they help to create a safe container in which the dialogue can unfold.

Irish, born in Ghana, living now in The Netherlands, I have over three decades of experience as Director Innovation, CEO, Executive Coach and Catalyst in the Business, Research, and NGO sectors. I am passionate about helping leaders create environments in which they, their teams and organisations and ultimately the whole (ecosystem) can flourish. I sense that “we stand at the evolutionary equivalent of what nature created when she gave organisms a neocortex, poised at the edge of an explosion of creativity, a wave that heralds creative revolution” (C Kromme). And know that our ability to hold and step into fresh new conversations and our inner leadership qualities (our “being” qualities) are crucial.
Katinka is member of the Executive Board of De Goudse Verzekeringen, with the portfolios ICT and Innovation. She has strong experience in leading (in) complex transitions and is fascinated by the impact that (authentic) leaders can have in the success or failure of transformations.

Her main field of interest is organisational change. She brings organisational change processes back to the core, never looses sight on the final purpose and always keeps in mind it’s a people’s business after all.
Sandra van der Maarel has more than 20 years of experience guiding individuals, teams and organizations in profound change processes and leadership development. She has a background in business economics, psychology and therapy (systemic work ao). “Dialogue is the way to improve our human relationships and ways of working together.”
Supporting Transformational Change through executive coaching, teambuilding and organisational development, applying 20 years of international management experience as well as a genuine interest in the right side of the human brain. Herman holds an MSc. of the University of Amsterdam (cum laude) and has been building businesses in Europe, China, India and Brazil for Royal DSM. Herman serves as Associate of Ashridge Executive Education at Hult International Business School. He brings seasoned understanding of intercultural co-operation, both in the sense of national as well as corporate cultures. He likes to challenge, continuously searching for new angles to approach any topic and gets his energy from interacting with people. In this role, he worked at C- and VP-levels with several Fortune 500 companies. Humour and compassion are his drivers.
Martian Slagter, Coach/Trainer Meer Perspectief, has more than 20 years experience as executive (team)coach and consultant. She advises organizations with change management and leadership development.
Angelica Thijssen is Chief HR Officer of Intertrust. She is responsible for HR and CSR. As a person, she is intrigued how people can find the courage to follow their internal compass, to speak their minds and/or to act.
Joop de Vries is an author and scenario planner. “My main area of interest is in ‘planning without numbers’, revolving around mental maps and the use of scenarios. I like to contribute to the development of Europe as a values community, more confident and generous than at present, as a result of inspiring leadership.”
Dorine Wekking is currently active as coach with Quist Leading Humans, as supervisory board member and as facilitator for leadership trails in African nature. She has worked as an executive HR Director for Aon, KPN, Deloitte and Shell. Her passion is to support leaders in their quest and work from their purpose.
