Purpose and Empowerment

The essence of good leadership is creating a shared sense of purpose and subsequently empowering people to contribute to that purpose. Daan is Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management and at Drexel University (Philadelphia), a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Chief Scientific Officer of The Better Company. Daan has published over 200 scholarly articles, books, and book chapters, many of which revolve around his interests in leadership, diversity, teams, and creativity.
