But as part of the membership of ELP or your participation to our events, we do need information to provide services that you request. About Us
ELP is a leadership community that offers its members the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with regard to leadership-related topics. ELP organizes meetings for its members and operates an online digital portal for members.
The Information We Collect & the Primary Purpose for Collection
The personal information you provide is being collected for legitimate business purposes, which includes processing registrations or enquiries, keeping you informed about new events, products or offers and providing the best possible service to you. Whenever we process data for these purposes we will ensure that we always keep your Personal Data rights in high regard and take account of these rights.
The provision of this information is voluntary. However, if you do not provide the information requested, we may be unable to process your registration or enquiry. All information provided by you will be held in the strictest confidence.
We will only collect the personal information that is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. It includes the following (however is not limited to):

ELP is the sole owner of the information collected on the sites.
Information Sharing: Who We Intend to Share Information With and Why
We do not share our e-mail lists with third parties. If you are a member of ELP we may forward you personalized information or invitations from organizations we have a partnership with and which are related to your area of interest. If you do not consent to share your personal information with any third party organizations please email info@elplatform.com.
As a member of ELP you can choose to fill out the personal profile page which is only accessible by ELP members. You can decide which information you would like to share and change it if needed.
In addition, we may disclose your Personal Information:
• to our third party service providers who provide services such as web site hosting, maintenance, data analysis, payment processing, IT services, credit card processing, auditing services and other similar services, but only to the extent necessary or useful to provide such services, and only pursuant to contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your Personal Information.
• to a third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).

Security
ELP takes precautions to protect your information. When users submit sensitive information (such as a credit card number) over the internet, we protect it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Access to all of our users’ information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
Correcting, Updating or Removing Your Personal Information
We will make every attempt to keep your personal data accurate, complete and up to date. If your personal information is incorrect, changes, or if you no longer wish to receive information from ELP, we will endeavour to correct, update or remove your information as swiftly as possible. This can be done by e-mailing info@elplatform.com or via the link in the footer of the mailings.
Direct Marketing
If you no longer wish to receive newsletters or promotional materials, you may opt-out of receiving these communications. You can do it by following the unsubscribe link placed in the footer of the promotional email or, if by post, by returning the letter to us with “unsubscribe” marked upon it. Or you can simply contact info@elplatform and ask to be unsubscribed.
Please note that if you opt out as described above, this will apply to marketing messages from us only. We will not be able to remove your Personal Information from the database of any other Users you have shared such information or from third parties to whom you have previously authorised us to share such information (i.e., to which we have already provided your Personal Information as of the date that we implement your opt-out request).
Please also note that if you do opt-out of receiving marketing-related messages from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, and you cannot opt-out from receiving administrative messages.
Notification of Changes
ELP reserves the right to amend the privacy notice. In such case the ‘last updated’ date will be amended accordingly and you will be informed via statement prominently displayed on the website.
GDPR Compliance
ELP respects your right to privacy. We ensure all data is managed lawfully, fairly and transparently. You have a right to be forgotten and can email us at info@elplatform to request an overview of your personal data or request more information related to our privacy-policy
Data Storage and Retention
The personal data we hold is stored on servers and on the servers of cloud based database management services. ELP retains data for the duration of the membership and until three years after the membership ends. We only email our members, individuals who may enquired about or participated in an event in the last year or who have opted in to receive our marketing communications. Should you receive an unsolicited email from us please email info@elplatform.com and we will remove your details within 48 hours.
