Multiple Value Creation

Companies need to create long-term value for multiple stakeholders: shareholders, employees and society. Shareholders need to get their fair share to keep the barbarians from the gate, paying taxes is a moral obligation and externalities have to be included, Leo van de Voort and Leen Paape write in their book Fantoomtrots (2022). They advocate changes in financial reporting (integrated reporting) and in governance (one-tier board).
