Twan van de Kerkhof founded the European Leadership Platform in 2003. He is passionate about leadership, loves asking penetrating questions and is an experienced moderator and facilitator.Before founding ELP, Twan was a journalist for 15 years, working for the Dutch Press Agency, as an independent journalist and as editor-in-chief of the magazine Management Scope. Twan has written seven books, the latest being ‘The YOU of Leadership’ (2013). He is also the editor of the books that were published in the ELP Leadership Series. Twan is an avid cook and a wine enthusiast. He is living in Landsmeer, near Amsterdam, with his wife Alexandra.

Saskia Potma joined ELP in January 2018 to support its growth ambition. Saskia firmly believes that sharing knowledge and experiences on a top-executive level is an important cornerstone of professional and personal leadership development. By joining ELP she hopes to contribute to a growing platform that engages leaders in a dialogue with peers in order to challenge their perspectives on themselves and the world around them.

Pauline provides administrative support, keeping everything running behind the scenes and asking the difficult questions that keep our saw sharp. She has more than thirty years of experience in administrative support and is the primary contact for any questions about invoicing and membership. In addition to her part-time work for ELP, she started the "Basis Vakopleiding Chinese Geneeskunde" in October 2023. In the time that remains, she likes to work in her own or other people’s garden and to read about a variety of subjects, preferably with coffee and something sweet.
